Construction Projects

Great news occurred this past May.  The Ascension Parish School Board granted our approval to occupy one half of an industrial shop building (708/712).  The existing facility had one classroom, two offices, a head (bathroom), a large warehouse area and a loft storage area.  The cadets and instructors took immediate action and before school was out the facility was cleared of the prior occupants stuff.  This summer we spent painting, cutting holes in cinder walls, replacing dry rotted molding and rewiring our audio visual network.  There is still more work to be done, but, it has to be performed by the school board maintenance crew.  That work includes building MSGT Daily's classroom, the armory, Tops office and the storage area for vending machine product.  We hope they will finish by Christmas.  We will keep one of our trailers for uniform storage and issue and a locker room for team members.
